Holiday Giving is something I totally believe in. Regardless if
I technically feel like participating in festivities like singing carols or hittin' up my church house for the holiday gospel. I ultimately MUST GIVE! this is something I am deemed to have as a foundation for my personal lifestyle, and all of my businesses will be ran under this moral decision as well. Below is a list of some charities I have either already contributed to or have on my list to do before the holiday season is over this year.
“We Love the Kids”, a holiday mixer, on the 15th of December 2010 at Metropolitan Arts and Business Lofts located at 675 Metropolitan Pkwy Suite 5079. Enjoy Yourself Events finds it important to give back to the community. As a result, the company donated all unwrapped gifts collected at the door to the less fortunate children of local shelters. Families were encouraged to celebrate the joy of the holiday season and show their kids that every child is not fortunate enough to receive gifts during the gift giving season. Entertainment for children was available from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Complimentary refreshments were served and guests had opportunity to shop with local vendors for great holiday gifts. There was no cover charge to attend “We Love the Kids”, however guests donated new toys valued at $10 or more to attend the mixer.

I decided to contribute to We Love the Kids hosted by @ElainaMWhitley. She had a drive that attracted me, collecting toys from all over to make the holiday's brighter for the children in this shelter. I instantly reached out to her, seeing what I might be able to contribute to these innocent children. I was not sure what toys were "hot" on the playground these days so I had to investigate asking my niece and the local kids shopping in the Toys R Us. I found that the Moxie Dolls are the business for little ladies. So naturally I had to grab some for these lil divas to enjoy. I am also a strong advocate for learning tools for children (blame it on my past of 3rd grade teaching) so flash cards were an absolute must. Other than that The infant toys and board games seemed to be a sufficient choice.
Kind of nervous if the toys would make it on time for the event, I shipped them out. They did come the day after, but made it to the lovely "We Love The Kids" children after all. So my heart had a song to sing. Go Beyond PR will definitely contribute from here on to this cause at least on a annual basis, we intend to do more even out of the holiday season.
SHOUT OUT!!
