BOYS II MEN ARE BACK!!!!

Motownphilly is most definitely back again. Yesterday afternoon, EntertainmentWeekly.com premiered the first taste from Philly R&B trailblazers Boyz II Men's new release, Twenty. Bolstered by production and guest vocals from Gap Band legend Charlie Wilson, the vintage soul of "More Than You'll Ever Know" is a confident standout on the new release. Earlier this morning the single debuted on iTunes. Sample it at the link below.

Of course, a digital single isn't all fans can snag at iTunes. Late last month, The Boyz launched their own Mobile App for iPhone and Android devices. The app creates a network for the group's over 60 million fans to be the first to hear about new music, videos and concerts. Features include live broadcasts from Boyz II Men, music videos, social media feeds, giveaways and much more. The Boyz II Men App also provides a medium for their fans all over the world --whom they've affectionately dubbed (S.O.L.) "Soldierz of Love" -- to connect with each other, discuss music and plan trips to concerts through the Boyz II Men user profile.

The fittingly-titled Twenty is a celebration of a band reclaiming its stride exactly two decades into one of the most fruitful careers in R&B history, which has led to their upcoming installation of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The double album, due October 25th, features eight new songs and twelve updated versions of Boyz II Men classics. Following on the heels of their successful covers releases A Journey Through Hitsville USA and Love, Twenty will mark the release of the group's first new material in over 10 years. To celebrate their return, the trio of Wanya Morris, Shawn Stockman and Nathan Morris called on a veritable who's who of R&B production -- Babyface, Teddy Riley, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Dallas Austin, and more. The result won't be available in full until October 25th, but for the time being the Charlie Wilson-assisted "More Than You'll Ever Know" will surely whet appetites.

I DID IT!!! VMAYZ IS OFFICIALLY OPENING NEW YEARS EVE 2011 AT HIP HOPS RENOWN~ KING OF DIAMONDS GENTLEMAN'S CLUB!

Basically have been networking my aXX off. I went through a lot of bullshxt promoters in Miami to get to the real thing. Yes, I actually did what the bullshxt promoters claimed I couldn't. I felt vindicated ... I felt all my potential surrounding me and guiding me to what wonderful blessings lay ahead for my career as the NEWEST POWERHOUSE PUBLICIST...

Vmayz will be a feature performer at Club Play Wednesday Night. Blazing the stage with new music from his recently released EP "Champagne Mayz" combined with exclusive preview footage of ESPN's "The Year of The Quarterback" documentary, Condredge Holloway story. The documentary is in stores sometime 2011. VMayz has also featured ESPN's "Fall Of Boy" written by Shaun Silva and Kenny Chesney, its now available in Wal Marts nation wide.

Friday Night VMayz is opening for Ace Hood, Gucci Mane, and DJ Khaled. On one of the THEE biggest night to be in Miami; in one of THEE hottest venues in the city, let alone North America. I am definitely proud of booking this and am confident that he will be invited to return many times over #Go_Beyond!
"Champagne Mayz" will be chillin' with his peeps including Marques Anthony, Jamie Foxx , and some Miami Dolphins ... ask about em tho.

Holiday Cheer 2010 part 3

EEEKKKKK!!!!!! (squealing with excitement) I woke up, meditated, and watched clips of my HERO #1 KIMORA LEE SIMMONS. she was in the middle of her fashion show launch and came across a Red Cross truck and gave blood, enough to save 3 lives. It didn't matter if she was all glammed up and if she had an event she was attending she made time to give. I know how rewarding the toys felt yesterday... so I am definitely inspired to give blood.

I always wanted to, but for some reason was not able to.. (i.e. i just finished antibiotics or some other restricted reason.) Especially knowing I am O negative blood type (UNIVERSAL BLOOD TYPE) this was on my top priority this week.

I made an appointment; the next day I came in. The process was simple, before I know it I was in the chair getting cleaned up for the process. Once all the needles were in, the nurses gave me the scoop on the Maury Show (also known as "Not The Father" show...LMBO!) they watched earlier. Before I knew it, within a ten minute gossip fest on who was/wasn't the father of illegitimate babies; I donated enough blood to save up to three lives. I felt exhilarated and definitely motivated to donate a lot more.

Holiday Cheer 2010 part 2

Holiday Giving is something I totally believe in. Regardless if
I technically feel like participating in festivities like singing carols or hittin' up my church house for the holiday gospel. I ultimately MUST GIVE! this is something I am deemed to have as a foundation for my personal lifestyle, and all of my businesses will be ran under this moral decision as well. Below is a list of some charities I have either already contributed to or have on my list to do before the holiday season is over this year.

“We Love the Kids”, a holiday mixer, on the 15th of December 2010 at Metropolitan Arts and Business Lofts located at 675 Metropolitan Pkwy Suite 5079. Enjoy Yourself Events finds it important to give back to the community. As a result, the company donated all unwrapped gifts collected at the door to the less fortunate children of local shelters. Families were encouraged to celebrate the joy of the holiday season and show their kids that every child is not fortunate enough to receive gifts during the gift giving season. Entertainment for children was available from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Complimentary refreshments were served and guests had opportunity to shop with local vendors for great holiday gifts. There was no cover charge to attend “We Love the Kids”, however guests donated new toys valued at $10 or more to attend the mixer.

For more information or to contribute to any future events for "We Love The Kids" please visit http://welovethekids.eventbrite.com. All media RSVP at cliquepr@gmail.com. For inquires please contact Elaina M. Whitley at elaina@enjoyyourselfevents.biz.

I decided to contribute to We Love the Kids hosted by @ElainaMWhitley. She had a drive that attracted me, collecting toys from all over to make the holiday's brighter for the children in this shelter. I instantly reached out to her, seeing what I might be able to contribute to these innocent children. I was not sure what toys were "hot" on the playground these days so I had to investigate asking my niece and the local kids shopping in the Toys R Us. I found that the Moxie Dolls are the business for little ladies. So naturally I had to grab some for these lil divas to enjoy. I am also a strong advocate for learning tools for children (blame it on my past of 3rd grade teaching) so flash cards were an absolute must. Other than that The infant toys and board games seemed to be a sufficient choice.

Kind of nervous if the toys would make it on time for the event, I shipped them out. They did come the day after, but made it to the lovely "We Love The Kids" children after all. So my heart had a song to sing. Go Beyond PR will definitely contribute from here on to this cause at least on a annual basis, we intend to do more even out of the holiday season.

SHOUT OUT!!

Holiday Cheer 2010 part 1

Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, and all the community service throughout the holidays. This is how the glam girl (me) celebrates the winter holiday season. Long days of incoming/outgoing calls, text, bbm, emails, etc. Conducting business for the major launching Go Beyond PR is taking this upcoming year. Cramming last minute phone calls before executives, label heads, and entertainments finest begin locking up their office personalities in exchange for their over-zealous holiday cheery selves.

Within this time of rearranging interview dates and performances, booking clients in some of the hottest Night Life spots in North America, for example infamous King Of Diamonds Gentleman's Club, Miami FL. Setting up a marketing department to assist me with my clients viral buzz.

Because of all these great things happening; I found it greatly imperative that I record these happenings publicly and personally. On here I will post for you all to get an inside glimpse of my personality and views on specific things that I am dealing with on the daily. It is only fair that you not be thrown off by what I can fit in a couple tweets while things are happening for me in my career and personal life; I decide to open up.

Back to the holidays... Usually I like to stand in on a Hanukkah celebration; I figure a well rounded exposure to religion and celebrations can harm nobody! ... This year I didn't even pay attention that Hanukkah was earlier in December #FAIL on this years participation.

Okay I have decided to not take Christmas full fledge commercialized patterns as usual. My views have been more relaxed about the traditional shop til you drop for everyone. I have decided to contribute my mothers joys however. Taking her Tree Shopping.

Tomorrow is the first day of Kwanzaa celebration ending December 31. I don't think I will celebrate this year either. I will acknowledge the days and principals, but I haven't even shopped for a kinara for the candles. So I would have to say this will not be on my list for festive participation either.

Even though I have been a bit dry with full on celebrating- I have brought plenty of sunshine to the holiday season on behalf of myself, glam newz, and go beyond pr to charities and community service (thumbs up). Next post will have details...

VMA 2010

I am excited to be back with the old crew... We are in LA looking sexy and I have my professional hat on. I am ready to seatfill and network. The last time I was at the VMA's, they were held in Miami and I was working as a PA. I had a check at the end of the night. I haven't been to an award show in over four years.

This is really refreshing for me, especially since I have reached my goal of going to school to learn public relations and actually having clients. Ha! I have clients now, and I have them packaged and ready to talk business on their behalf. This is the most assuring thing that has happened this first season of my 100 day challenge.

Well so it is, I will keep you posted glamworld OUT!!
